These instructions outline how to use short-code parameters customize which types of posts are shown, or how they are ordered. The first step is to add the short-code to the page in which you would like your blog posts to appear. By default, the short-code will show every post on the site, in descending order. This is what the short-code looks like:

ADDING PARAMETERS
The following parameters can be added to the [ display-posts ] short-code to provide flexibility on which type of posts are displayed. Note that multiple parameter types can be combined to increase the specificity of posts you wish to display.
Order
Use this parameter to change the order in which posts are presented, by default, posts are shown in descending order of date posted. This can be changed to ascending order.

Tag
You can choose to show posts which only have a certain tag or tags. For example, if you want to only show posts that have the tag “GVSD”, you would add this:

Note that multiple tags can be used, just ensure they are separated by a comma like so:

Category
You can choose to show posts which only fall under a certain category. For example, if you want to only show posts categorized as “Early Learning”, you would add this:

Author
Posts from only particular authors can also be shown. Please use the authors username as the parameter, like so:
